Be part of the Standby Response Team today.

Since last year, we have been collating info on contact details of government agencies/institutions as well as relief and volunteer centers. We wanted to create a central data hub of emergency numbers that can be shared with everyone.

We have recently joined forces with RockEd Philippines to create the Standby Response Team Volunteer Sign-Up Sheet. Our aim is two-fold:

  1. To create a volunteer database which can be called and mobilized if (and when) disasters strike
  2. To build a comprehensive list of emergency contact numbers all over the Philippines

If you have information to share, or if you want to be part of the team, you can sign up here. For inquiries, you can e-mail radio@rockedphilippines.org.

Please note that the information you will provide will be kept confidential.

Justice for Ampatuan Massacre Victims

Bayanihan Online joins our fellow Filipinos in mourning the deaths of innocent civilians who were murdered on 23 November 2009. We condemn the killing of men and women, fathers and mothers, sons and daughters, public servants, journalists, citizens – all victims who have suffered in the hands of murderers who have no shame and conscience. We condemn President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s government who has fostered a culture of impunity and crime. We will be vigilant in rallying for justice. We will fight for the truth.
